The Department of Planning and Environment will again be at the Sydney Royal Easter Show from 23 March 2018 to 3 April 2018.
Come and visit us in Hall Two of the Home & Lifestyle Pavilion.
For 12 days, 55 staff will be offering information on all things planning in NSW including exciting initiatives across, greener places, open spaces and parklands and Planned Precincts and Growth Areas.
There’s also giveaways during the Royal Easter Show, like seeded biopots so you can plant your very own lemon scented tea tree.
We will have special guests including actress Justine Clarke and other experts on hand to offer gardening advice and more so don’t forget to drop by.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Over 14 days, 81 staff offered tips to save the show goers time and money. The stall focused on the complying development approval pathway for building and renovating homes. We also gave a sneak peek to our soon to be launched online tools to help meet building and renovating needs.
Minister of Planning and Environment, Anthony Roberts and Better Homes and Gardens’ Jason Hodges stopped by at our stall to chat with them about complying development and renovation.
Show goers had the opportunity to win a $500 hardware voucher by sharing their best renovating tip in 25 words or less. Out of 113 competition entrants, J Elder won the prize with this renovating tip, “Leave it to the experts, read the instructions, make sure you have the correct Allen key”
