Regional Strategies are in place for eight areas of regional NSW and have been prepared in partnership with state and local government, communities and business. The Regional Strategies set a clear direction for these rapidly growing regions over the longer term.
The Department also released a Regional Strategy Update Report in May 2009 that outlines progress made on the above strategies. Every five years each strategy will be reviewed to ensure they continue to respond to new challenges in the regions.
