Register of major projects

The Department of Planning assesses major projects that require the approval of the Minister for Planning. The assessment process for the following project is in accordance with the Part 3A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

Project: Sydney Water Facility, Potts Hill Reservoirs Site (MP 08_0049)

Proponent: Sydney Water Corporation
Description: The proponent (Sydney Water Corporation) is seeking to build a new facility on the Potts Hill reservoirs site on Rookwood Road. This facility will include a combination of office, warehouse and storage buildings; outdoor storage area, car parking, circulation and landscaping and road access off Rookwood and Brunker roads. The proposal is within the terms of the Concept Plan proposed by Landcom and Sydney Water (MP 07_0099)
