Investigation Programs

The DMPP has been set up to determine how much opportunity for demand reduction is available in inner metropolitan Sydney and how much it costs to deliver these opportunities through the development of individual customer business cases at approximately 1000 major energy using sites.

Program outcomes include:

Demonstration Programs

Demonstration programs shall validate and report the findings of the investigative works by testing the market place with incentives to ensure that consumers are targeted through a range of demand reduction programs that showcase these activities, technically and commercially.

The DMPP is working closely with customers so that the best results are achieved to accurately report all findings. The results will be monitored and verified in the field giving DMPP robust information that can be transferred to other parts of the community.

Program outcomes and case studies are displayed below:

Project Findings Summary Reports

The success of any program is determined by testing the results to ensure that what was predicted is actually delivered. This is the most challenging component and integral to the success of the program, yet it is often overlooked. The DMPP maintains a strong focus on this portion of the model to ensure that the results are real and can withstand scrutiny.
