Regional Growth Plans


The 2014 NSW Statewide Profile [PDF 12MB] outlines the factors shaping growth and change in communities throughout NSW. It provides a snapshot of NSW’s economy, environment, resources, infrastructure and communities.


Regional Growth Plans will help to plan for sustainable growth and change within regions across NSW. They will be critical in helping regions plan for growth. This includes planning for a range of housing and jobs for our changing population, and the infrastructure needed to support this.

Local government will be central to the development and delivery of Regional Growth Plans. The community will also play an important role in informing the development new Regional Growth Plans, and will be closely consulted throughout the process.
