Local Government Planning Forums
Local government planning forums are hosted by the Department of Planning & Environment, for local government general managers, planning directors and senior planners employed by NSW councils.
The purpose of these forums is to provide up-to-date information on planning activities, issues and directions and to gather input for planning policy decision-making, at an early stage.
These forums usually comprise presentations and workshops.
It is expected that the next forums will be held after the introduction of the new planning system.
