• City Centre Character
  The future character of the Newcastle city centre reflects the future role and function of the city centre within its environmental context. The future character of the city centre is represented by distinct character areas.
• Key Sites
  Key sites have been identified within the city centre. The future development of these sites will be subject to design excellence which will include an architectural competition.
