Strategic inquiry into potential coal mining impacts in the Wyong LGA

The NSW Government has established a strategic inquiry into potential coal mine development in sensitive areas within the Wyong local government area, including the Dooralong and Yarramalong valleys. An independent panel has been appointed to conduct the inquiry.

Submissions to the Wyong Independent Panel

The Wyong Independent Panel received 360 written submissions (including 293 form letters). Copies of the submission are provided below.

The public submission period has now closed and all submissions have been given to the panel members. The panel members have reviewed the submissions both independently and jointly.

Supplementary submissions

Anyone who has made a submission to the Panel may also make a supplementary submission. Supplementary submissions should not repeat material contained in the primary submission. Instead, it should contain additional material. This additional material may be in relation to other primary submissions or matters that arose during the public hearings.

Supplementary submissions can be emailed to peter.downes@planning.nsw.gov.au or posted to the Panel Secretariat, Wyong Independent Expert Panel, c/- Department of Planning, GPO Box 39 Sydney NSW 2001. Submissions are to reach the Department by 4.00 p.m. on Friday 28 September 2007.
