Public exhibition of the concept application for the Sydney Football Stadium Redevelopment project, which includes the concept proposal and Stage 1 (demolition) works, closed on 11 July 2018.
The first stage of the redevelopment of the Sydney Football Stadium, involving its demolition and a concept proposal for a new stadium, was approved subject to strict conditions.
Infrastructure NSW have lodged a request with the Department for the Planning Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) to be issued for their Stage 2 development application.
Once the Department has issued the SEARs to Infrastructure NSW they must submit an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Stage 2 development application.
When the Department receives the EIS for the Stage 2 application it will be placed on public exhibition. During exhibition, the Department will invite the community, council and other government agencies to have their say.
