The Department received feedback from the community, government agencies and other stakeholders during public exhibition. This feedback will help us better understand the opinions and concerns of the community, which will inform our assessment of the project.
The Department will collate submissions and publish them on our Major Projects website shortly and ask Sydney Metro to address any issues raised by the community, council and government agencies.
A State Significant Precinct (SSP) Study for Waterloo Metro Quarter was also on exhibition until 30 January 2019. The SSP Study includes proposed planning controls for the precinct.
The Concept SSD Application takes into account the proposed planning controls. Although the SSP study and the Concept SSD Application relate to each other, they are separate planning processes.
Find out more about the SSP Study and to have your say please visit our Waterloo Metro Quarter SSP webpage.
