Consultation and feedback

The department welcomed public and stakeholders feedback on the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) during public exhibition in October-November 2019.

In response to feedback received from the community and government agencies and as a result of ongoing design refinement, Health Infrastructure NSW made changes to the Stage 2 application.

All project documents received by the Department to date, including EIS and the Response to Submissions report are available on our Major Projects website.

Next steps

Stage 1 (Early Works) are due for completion towards the end of 2020, with Main Works (Stage 2) to commence shortly after. The new hospital is expected to open to patients in 2023.
