The Department met with members of the community at a drop–in session in June 2017, to discuss the planning process.

From June – August, we also conducted a PlaceScore survey inviting local residents to voice their values and priorities for the area. Cherrybrook’s views and natural features were a clear, shared community priority, while groups within the community shared specific needs, including for locally–owned shops, services and cafes.

Further details can be found in the Cherrybrook Station Precinct Consultation Update (PDF 438 KB) and the survey results are available in the PlaceScore Cherrybrook Priority Precinct Community Insights, August 2017 (PDF 3.79 MB).

The Department held community workshops in Cherrybrook on Wednesday 22 November 2017 at the WPH Sports Club, inviting community members to share ideas and priorities for planning. A further participation on-line survey was held in November-December to compliment these workshops.
