The plans were exhibited from November 2017 to February 2018 and we received 63 submissions including the advice of Council and State agencies.

Thank you for attending our community drop-in sessions. More than 200 people came along to find out more about the plans for North Wilton. We really appreciate the time you took to learn more about planning for your area and provide feedback.

The key issues raised in these submissions included concerns about the need for an upgraded railway network and road network, the provision of additional schools and the protection of the natural environment of Wilton.

Other key issues mentioned in submissions related to building density and height, specifically the type of low density housing that will be constructed.

For more information please refer to the North Wilton Precinct Finalisation Report - October 2018 (PDF, 264 KB) or go to the Department's Plans Policies website to read the submissions.
