The Western Sydney Aerotropolis will make the most of the Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan, a NSW and Federal Government investment program for the delivery and upgrade of roads.

The NSW Government has committed to investment in major infrastructure including:

The protection of suitable corridors for proposed future rail connections will take place with the identification of land required for the proposed South West Rail Link Extension, the proposed North South Rail Link and the Outer Sydney Orbital.

A Place Infrastructure Compact (PIC) is being developed for the Aerotropolis by the Greater Sydney Commission. The PIC will be used to develop a special infrastructure contribution and local infrastructure contributions under the EP&A Act. The PIC will also guide the investment and staging decisions of utility providers to ensure services are available at the Aerotropolis growth area.
