In late 2018 we began work on ‘Go Jindabyne’, a Master Plan to revitalise the gateway town to the Snowy Mountains.

Feedback from the local community and findings from technical studies highlighted the need to extend the plan beyond Jindabyne’s town centre and look at the broader Snowy Mountains region.

As a result, the NSW Government announced the wider Snowy Mountains area to become a Special Activation Precinct.

The Snowy Mountains Special Activation Precinct (Snowy Mountains SAP) aims to grow a strong year-round visitor economy, improve tourism and continue to focus on revitalising Jindabyne's town centre.
