A Special Infrastructure Contribution (SIC) is proposed to help fund new and upgraded infrastructure to support the delivery of the Bayside West Precincts 2036.

 

The proposed SIC provides for developer contributions of up to $86.4 million to be collected from new development. The SIC will help fund infrastructure including: 

  • Road and intersection upgrades – $16.2 million
  • Public transport (bus infrastructure) – $100,000
  • Land and works for schools – $31.4 million
  • Regional open space – $15.1 million
  • Regional cycling and pedestrian facilities – $22.4 million
  • Planning and delivery costs – $1.2 million

 

Consultation and feedback

The proposed SIC was on exhibition until 23 November 2018. Thank you to all who provided feedback.

 

Submissions are now under consideration.
