Paying a SIC

To confirm if a SIC is payable, please email SIContributions@planning.nsw.gov.au with the following two attachments:

  1. development consent
  2. approved plan.

If a SIC has not been previously paid, please provide both a net developable area plan and pre-allocated plan number.

The net developable area plan, the NDA, needs to:

  • be prepared and signed by a registered surveyor
  • show the NDA hatched. NDA is defined in clause 10 of the Ministerial Determination
  • state the NDA in hectares to 4 decimal points
  • show and label all the lots being created in the subdivision in accordance with the approved plan
  • show any exemptions applied as per clause 10 of the Ministerial Determination.

The pre-allocated plan number is available from NSW Land and Registry Services.

A SIC Notice of Assessment will be provided with the contribution amount. Following payment, a SIC Certificate of Payment will be provided.

If a SIC has previously been paid, a SIC clearance letter will be provided.
