Pitt Street South Over Station Development

In January 2017, the Minister for Planning approved the Sydney Metro City and Southwest – Chatswood to Sydenham project as a Critical State Significant Infrastructure project, which included the Pitt Street Metro station.

The Pitt Street Metro station is located below Pitt Street and Castlereagh Street, between Park Street and Bathurst Street. The station consists of a northern entrance located on Park Street and a southern entrance located on Bathurst Street.
