The new park in Kellyville will be a community space for relaxing, getting some exercise or having fun.

It will be a place where people can gather, be active, and enjoy the outdoors. There will be areas for young people, and places to host gatherings and celebrations. The park is proposed to have plenty of shade, and greenery will separate courts and footpaths.

The new park in Kellyville is part of the Parks for People – Transport Oriented Development (TOD) Program, designed to create vibrant, accessible open spaces for growing communities.

We’ve listened to the community through earlier consultation, and your feedback has guided our vision for the park. You told us you value spaces for young people, wildlife protection, shade, and local history.

Design process

  1. Pre-design community input

This phase helps us refine the vision based on insights we’ve previously gathered from the community. We will also work together with local cultural knowledge holders and traditional custodians. We want to make sure our objectives are still aligned with your values and vision for the park so we can prepare a draft concept design.

  2. Concept design exhibition

We will develop a draft concept design for further community feedback before developing more detailed designs. At the concept stage we will provide a design board to allow you to take a closer look at the proposed key features of the park, and you can complete a survey to share your feedback.

  3. Final design release

We will give the community an opportunity to see the final design for the new park in Kellyville.

  4. Construction

After we've completed the construction, the park will be opened for community use.
