Official Caution issued to Bulga Coal Management Pty Ltd

On 21 November 2025, the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure issued an Official Caution to Bulga Coal Management Pty Ltd (BCM) for failing to comply with approved operational noise limits. On 12 August 2025, BCM exceeded approved noise limits at the BCC 8 monitoring location on multiple occasions. Compliance with approved noise limits assists in protecting the local amenity for surrounding residents. The Department will continue to monitor for ongoing compliance with noise limits.
Penalty Notice issued to Enviroking Pty Ltd

On 4 November 2025, the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (the Department) issued a $15,000 Penalty Notice to Enviroking Pty Ltd (Enviroking) for failing to comply with approved operational hours at the Enviroking Liquid Waste Facility. Enviroking have since put measures in place to ensure compliance with the approved operational hours and the Department will continue to monitor compliance with conditions of consent.
