Penalty Notice issued to DT Infrastructure Pty Ltd

On 6 March 2026, the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (the Department) issued a $15,000 Penalty Notice to DT Infrastructure Pty Ltd (DTI) for failing to minimise dust generated by the Goulburn River Solar Farm development. During an inspection by Departmental officers, it was observed that DTI had failed to adequately minimise dust generated by the construction of the development. The Department will continue to monitor the development for compliance with its conditions of consent, including conducting unannounced inspections.

Fire Safety Order issued to Owners of Strata Plan 945347, 32 Hunter Street Parramatta

On 19 March 2026, the Department issued a Fire Safety Order to the Owners of Strata Plan 945347, 32 Hunter Street Parramatta to remove identified external wall panels on the building consisting of Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP). ACP is combustible and poses a fire safety risk. The owners are required to replace the identified ACP with a non-combustible product as well as implement other fire safety measures and provide an inspection report issued by an accredited certifier, certifying that the replacement panels and method of installation comply with the Building Code of Australia. The owners are required to implement interim fire safety measures to reduce the fire safety risks associated with the cladding until the rectification work is complete.
