The NSW State Design Review Panel (SDRP) includes a team of state government design champions and 9 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members with expertise in design and Aboriginal cultural heritage to promote opportunities to Design with Country.

Tershia is an associate principal at Studio STH with extensive experience as an architect working across four continents. She has shaped significant regional Australian and international projects across her career. She has a passion for human centred architecture which is of-place.
Digby Hall
NSW SDRP Panel Member
Digby is founding director of design-led consultancy Climatewise Design. He has over 30 years’ experience in sustainable architecture and urban design. Digby’s focus is on embedding long-term climate resilience into the built environment through design excellence.
Laura Harding

Laura is a registered urban designer and critic with more than 25 years’ experience in practice with Hill Thalis Architecture + Urban Projects. Her critical writing builds awareness of the critical role played by architecture and urbanism in our national culture.
Bernadette Hardy

Bernadette is a Dharug (Sydney) Gamilaraay Custodian, a practising spatial designer at hardyhardy, and an associate professor at University of NSW. Her work centres on creating belonging for all beings through Indigenous and neurodivergent lenses in the design of the built environment.

Jon is a principal at Hassell and a landscape architect with global and local experience. He leads collaborative projects that strengthen biodiversity and resilience in cities, promoting landscape architecture’s vital role in shaping sustainable urban environments.

Andre is a Sydney-based architect with over 20 years of experience across Australia and Asia. He specialises in mission-critical data centre projects, with a focus on design performance, sustainability, and integration with planning and context.
Ben Hewett

Ben has over 20 years of experience in architectural design, master planning, housing, commercial and public buildings. He was the inaugural South Australian Government Architect 2010 to 2014; the NSW Deputy Government Architect 2016 to 2020; and Executive Director with NSW Government 2020 to 2024.
Lee Hillam

Lee is a founding principal of DunnHillam, an established architecture and urban design practice with cultural, community and arts expertise. Lee’s strength is in the strategic thinking of masterplans and place,and people driven design. She is experienced at design review and understands government policy and processes.
Jessica Hodge

Jess Hodge is a principal at Yerrabingin. Through a Country-led design approach, she creates landscapes and urban outcomes that balance ecology, culture and community, fostering resilience, reciprocity and enduring connections to place.
Amelia Holliday

Amelia is a co-director and co-founder of Aileen Sage and has a special interest in projects which span architecture, public art, heritage and landscape. She holds a MA in Architectural History and Critical Thinking, and sits on the NSW chapter council of the Australian Institute of Architects.

Danièle is a Budawang woman of the Yuin nation and a cultural designer and researcher. Working at the intersection of architecture, urban design, performance design and fine arts, her practice Djinjama specialises in Country centred design.

Matthias is the national head of Sustainability at COX Architecture, overseeing the practice’s sustainable design and planning agenda and sustainability services. He is an experienced architect, urban designer and academic specialising in regenerative design and planning, carbon reduction and climate adaptation.

Jane is a founding director of Jane Irwin Landscape Architecture. She has great enthusiasm for the possibilities of landscape and urban design and works on projects ranging from garden courtyards, to city making.

Jamileh is the director of Studio Orsi and a NSW-registered architect. She has lived in Australia for over 12 years, combining her local experience with her Iranian background to pursue sustainable, community-grounded and place-sensitive design.

Graham, AM is the executive director City Planning Development and Transport, at the City of Sydney. He leads the design excellence program, strategic planning, development assessments, heritage and urban design, and has participated in over 90 architectural competitions.

Kat is a principal at Grimshaw, and is an experienced design leader with expertise in transport, infrastructure, and industrial design. She leads multi-disciplinary teams delivering sustainable, future-focused projects grounded in circular economy principles.

Craig is a Wiradjuri design architect, who weaves Indigenous knowledge into built form across urban spaces, landscapes, and architecture. He centres his approach on 'Belonging to Country,' using architecture as a medium for storytelling and cultural expression.
