The Department of Planning and Environment is calling for community feedback on plans for a new road/rail terminal and container park at St Mary’s near Penrith.
Executive Director, Priority Projects, David Gainsford said community input is a vital part of the planning process and encouraged everyone to have their say on the intermodal proposal which is on public exhibition from today until 27 June.
“The Department wants to hear the community’s views on the proposed St Marys Intermodal Freight Terminal.
“Community input is essential to help us make a thorough and rigorous assessment and ensure any potential impacts are fully considered,” Mr Gainsford said.
