Building certifiers are needed to help support the development of 900,000 new homes in NSW over the next 20 years as our population grows.

What is building certification?

Building certification involves independently inspecting and approving building work to make sure it complies with the safety, health, design and sustainability standards specified in NSW legislation and building codes.

As accredited specialists, certifiers inspect and certify construction at critical stages, making sure it complies with national standards; the National Construction Code including the Building Code of Australia and other legislation.
