LAHC Centre for Design

Improving design management to build a culture of better design of the built environment and social housing

The LAHC Centre for Design is a collaboration between the NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) and the Government Architect NSW. Established in 2018, the centre directs and co-designs improvements to internal design management processes to promote a culture of design at the Land and Housing Corporation.

Both Good Design for Social Housing and the Land and Housing Corporation’s Dwelling Requirements were produced through this collaboration to ensure the corporation’s work benefits from and is aligned with the NSW Government’s contemporary visions for built environment design and social housing outcomes.
