The Government Architect NSW collaborated with architects to prepare 11 case studies showcasing high-quality NSW apartment buildings and referencing the relevant aspects of the Apartment Design Guide.
These case studies highlight creative site planning and design solutions, achieving good residential amenity under different site constraints. The case studies discuss building elements that demonstrate outcomes consistent with the objectives of State Environmental Planning Policy No 65 – Design Quality of Residential Apartment Development 2002 and the applicable design guidance at the time of the development assessment.
