Official Caution issued to Agright Griffith Pty Ltd

On 16 January 2024, NSW Planning issued an Official Caution to Agright Griffith Pty Ltd for operating a temporary batching plant at Goolgowi Poultry Complex that did not form part of the approved development. On 13 December 2023 following an application to Carrathool Shire Council, Agright was granted a Development Approval to operate the temporary batching plant at Goolgowi Poultry Complex, resolving the non-compliance.

Enforceable Undertaking – Snowy Hydro Limited

On 16 January 2024, NSW Planning accepted an Enforceable Undertaking from Snowy Hydro Limited, for the formation of a surface depression in the Kosciuszko National Park (KNP) during tunnelling activities for the Snowy 2.0 project. Snowy Hydro Limited has undertaken to pay $300,000 to the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) Alpine Hut Rebuilding Programme. Additionally, Snowy Hydro Limited have had approved an application to facilitate the rehabilitation of the surface depression.
